A SUMMER LETTER FROM OUR CHAIRMAN
Dear Fellow Residents,
I hope that you are all enjoying this wonderful weather – long may it continue! School holidays are now upon us, and I have one or two small pleas to all garden users, which I hope will make the next few weeks an enjoyable time for all.
The first ‘small plea’ is about noise. With doors and windows open, noise travels so easily. So, please, a general awareness to keep volumes – of everything – down.
My next plea concerns games in the garden. Please remember that ball games in the garden are restricted to children under the age of 10 years – and could they also please be reminded to ‘keep the volume down’!
And finally parties in and around the garden – the warm still evenings are perfect for parties – but the sound does travel so – especially after the odd glass of lemonade! Barbeques on private patios are fine – but please – not in the garden.
Would all dog owners please remember that they must be in control of their dog at all times – large dogs on very long leads may be a danger to other garden users – please take care.
Thank you for taking the trouble to read this – and enjoy your summer in the garden.
