The Community Noticeboard is where we want you to share with your fellow residents knowledge that you have that would make their lives easier or more enjoyable – and in return you will find plenty of information to help you in your daily life. In the menu to the left you’ll see a list of categories in which we are gathering and sharing information. So for example if you now a reallygood plumber who works in the area, click on the ‘Plumbers’ page and add him to the list using the information uploading box at the bottom of that page. We’d like you to include in your entry:
- the name of the person or business you are recommending
- their contact phone number (and their website address if they have one)
- your name and (ideally) your phone number, so if someone who is interested to use the person you recommended wants more details, they can call ou to get them, and
- a short (i.e 1-2 lines) text on why you are recommending them
Obviously this will only work if everyone is prepared to be generous with their knowledge. But if it does succeed it will be a hugely useful resource for us all.
